Transport Administrator Key Responsibilities: Assisting planners with communication to customers & drivers. Reporting issues and queries to relevant department. Garage, customs, customer service, etc. Tracking deliveries and updating spreadsheets as well as customer portals with accurate information taken from and input to our in house transport management system. Liaising with various departments and outside depots to ensure operational flows Answering phone calls from drivers, depots and occasionally customers. Skills & Qualifications: Logistics experience preferrable but not essential as training will be provided. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Good IT skills. Confident with Microsoft excel/Outlook & using online portals. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving. Variable shift patterns covering weekends as part of a rotational pattern or as and when required. We see this role as a way in to the Transport Industry with opportunities to grow and develop within the business either as a planner or diversify in to other departments.
