As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be fully immersed with our experienced Tax team to provide great advice to clients. Life will be fast paced, engaging, creative and rewarding. You will:

  • Work closely with our Tax Partners, adding value to the exceptional work we deliver to a varied portfolio of our larger and more complex compliance clients.
  • Deliver tax advisory work to business owners, including tax planning, advising on the acquisition and disposal of businesses and properties, comprising report writing, financial analysis and technical research.
  • Deal with HMRC enquiries.
  • Provide a technical resource to our network of accountants, whether this is by phone or email support service.
  • Support with the management, training and development of junior team members.

  • Be ATT/CTA qualified, with ideally at least 3 years PQE gained in Tax practice.
  • Have solid experience of advising OMBs on a range of tax issues primarily focusing on corporation tax but with knowledge of the income and capital gains tax issues relevant to business owners.
  • Have some exposure to VAT issues (an advantage, but not a necessity).
  • Enjoy finding solutions to problems and really love tax.
  • Have a proactive attitude, whether a task is complicated or simple, big or small.
  • Be confident in working to achieve great things alongside the rest of the team.
