Responsibilities:
- Working to Health & Safety regulations
- Working to set procedures (SOP’s, QI’s)
- Understanding how machinery works within your area
- Running machinery in your area
- Identifying component & product faults
- Communicating with fellow employees
- Understanding the importance of waste reduction
- Adapting to quick line changes
- Assisting the Senior Operator in all line activities including effective changeovers
- Working as part of a team & using your own initiative unsupervised at times
- Ensuring & maintaining a clean, tidy work station free from hazards
- Assisting in the efficient running of production line with minimal downtime
- Identifying & reporting unsafe working practices or equipment
- Being aware of the minimum quality requirements for the products produced
- Identifying & reporting defective materials & components
- Reporting areas of componentry or liquid loss
- Reworking rejects immediately or removing them from the line
- Storing & stacking all empty pallets safely
- Informing Senior Operator of any mechanical or component issues
- Helping reduce waste of materials where possible
- Informing Senior Operator of defective equipment & potential H&S issues
- Using all demarcation squares correctly at all times
Skills:
- Self-motivated

Education and Experience:
- Electric Truck licence (Desirable but not essential)
- Basic SAP understanding
- Health & Safety knowledge
- Interpersonal skills / communication
