Using the appropriate SAP transactions to record the pallet movements.Key Activities:(The main activities / action needed to carry out the job)Moving pallets and packaging to and from the manufacturing areas in a safe and timely manner, including line clearance.Ensure all pallet movements are recorded accuarately and in a timely manner on SAPManage the SAP / Racking system interfaceEnsure that all work areas are at the required hygiene standards and participate in the required housekeeping auditsPerform and document Health & Safety checksSafely operate all mechanical equipment (eg – Dan, Live Rack etc..) and resolve issues where possibleCreate and apply correct pallet labels to pallets (ensuring that all counts are accurate)Assist engineering in the service area’s (Live Rack, Dan Palletiser)Removal of waste and recyclables from designated collection containers to the recycling and waste storage areas on site ensuring that the recycling and waste storage areas are maintained to company standardsOperate Compactors and Balers safely and co-ordinate the storage of baled recyclables and their removal from siteReport contamination issues and daily performance/issues to EHS DepartmentDrive initiatives to improve waste reduction and recyclingConduct faulty finding activities during system downtimeConduct ‘lane housekeeping’ activities in the Live Racking to utilise the space effectivelyRun all packing auxiliary equipmentFeed pallets into the automated TippersKey Result Areas:(The key end results by which achievement will be measured)Line efficiency down time associated with component shortagesStock accuracy in live rackDowntime of the live rack systemDown time of the Dan PalletiserWorking in conjunction with the EHS department, co-ordinate site waste activities to maintain waste recycling levels to company standards.
