- To be able to run machinery in your area.
- To have basic quality knowledge to be able to identify component & product faults.

- Assist the Senior Operator in all line activities including effective changeovers.
- To be able to work as part of a team & also using your own initiative unsupervised at times.
- To ensure & maintain a clean, tidy work station free from hazards.
- To assist in the efficient running of production line with minimal down time.
- Identify & report unsafe working practice or equipment.
- To be aware of the minimum quality requirements for the products produced.
- Identify & report defective materials & components.
- Report areas of componentry or liquid loss.
- Work stations must be clean & tidy at all times.
- Rejects must be reworked immediately or removed from the line.
- All empty pallets to be stored & stacked safely.
- Inform Senior Operator of any mechanical or component issues.
- Help reduce waste of materials where possible.
- Inform Senior Operator of defective equipment & potential H&S issues.
- Where required all demarcation squares to be used correctly at all times.
- Self Motivated.
- The ability to work as part of a team & on own initiative.
- Willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills.
- Education and Experience:
- Electric Truck licence (Desirable but not essential)
- Basic SAP understanding
- Health & Safety knowledge

- Complies with Robert McBride Ltd. Health, Safety and Environmental Policies as displayed on the notice board.
- Ensures safe working and ensures that their working environment is kept tidy.
- Reports any safety hazards and environment risks within the work area or malfunction of any machine, plant or equipment to the immediate Manager.
- Complies with all written or verbal instructions given to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
- Uses safety equipment and/or protective clothing as required by the task in hand. e.g. Ear/Eye protection, Safety Footwear etc.
- Reports all incidents to the immediate Manager whether injury is sustained or not, including environment incidents.
- Observes the Fire Evacuation Procedure and learns the position of all fire equipment and exit routes.
Quality:
- Understands and takes responsibility for quality.
- Understanding and follows all quality procedures and specifications.
- Reports substandard or unsatisfactory work/products.
Continuous Improvement:
- Knowledge of suitable processes and skills application.
- Participates in continuous improvement activities.
Manufacturing Process:
- Set up, operate, monitor, control and improve manufacturing processes to meet customer machine/plant knowledge, change over procedures, dept KPI's, PM planning, Performance awareness, etc.
