McBride Sport is recruiting on behalf of Ascot for a creative and driven Social Media Manager to lead content for QIPCO British Champions Day, the prestigious finale to the UK flat racing season.
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the social media strategy for British Champions Series (BCS), including QIPCO British Champions Day, Club 26 and the Hall of Fame
- Planning and overseeing content production, from concept to delivery
- Managing daily relationships with social and digital agencies
- Creating engaging, on-brand content to grow and energise audiences
- Running community management and reactive engagement across all platforms
- Working closely with partners and stakeholders to bring racing and lifestyle stories to life
- Tracking social growth and content performance
- Managing budgets and delivering against clear KPIs
The ideal candidate will have:
- A genuine interest in horse racing – or previous experience working in the sport – is highly desirable
- Proven experience in a social media management role
- Strong working knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTube
- Excellent writing skills and an eye for detail
- Experience overseeing content shoots and working with creators
- Confidence managing agencies and collaborating with stakeholders
- Flexibility for UK travel as required
