McBride Sport is proud to be supporting the search for a Marketing Director on behalf of Arena Racing Company (ARC), one of the UK’s leading racecourse and greyhound venue operators, with a national portfolio of 20 venues. This is a senior strategic appointment with full responsibility for group-wide marketing leadership, commercial performance, and brand growth.

The Marketing Director will:

  • Lead the development and execution of ARC’s overarching group marketing strategy
  • Drive measurable growth across ticketing, hospitality, sponsorship, retail and non-raceday events
  • Oversee national campaign planning across major revenue-generating fixtures
  • Champion data-led decision making and best-in-class ticketing functionality
  • Own and control the full group marketing budget, forecasting and ROI measurement
  • Lead and develop a high-performing central marketing team
  • Align marketing activity with Sales, PR, Sponsorship, HR, Racing and Executive stakeholders

You will also manage key external partnerships across agencies and industry bodies, ensuring innovation and competitive advantage across ARC’s diverse venue portfolio. Reporting at senior management level, this role requires a commercially sophisticated leader capable of building scalable marketing structures, systems, and capabilities, creating a culture of accountability, creativity and performance and translating strategy into measurable commercial outcomes.

Driving collaboration across a complex, multi-site organisation, the ideal background will be someone from either multi-site leisure, sport, hospitality or live events, high-volume ticketed environments, or data-led customer acquisition and retention strategies. This is a rare opportunity to shape the commercial and brand trajectory of one of the UK’s most significant sports and entertainment venue groups.
