Key Purpose:The SAP Quality Management Functional Analyst will lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of SAP QM processes within our SAP S/4HANA or ECC landscape. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and technical consultants to deliver robust quality management solutions that improve compliance, streamline operations, and enhance product quality across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:The SAP Quality Management Functional Analyst will be responsible for working on projects and operations across the Quality Management domain including:
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective SAP QM functional solutions.
- Configure SAP QM modules including:
- Quality Planning (Inspection Plans, MICs, Sampling Procedures)
- Quality Inspection (Inspection Lots, Usage Decisions, Defects Recording)
- Quality Notifications (Customer, Vendor, Internal)
- Quality Certificates
- Quality Control (In-Process, Final, GR inspections)
- Quality Management activities are executed as per plan, meet business requirements and documented as per GIS policies and procedures.
- Quality Management systems follow our internal standards and strategy.
- Deliver Quality Management projects on time and in full.
- Execute the delivery and support of Quality Management across all of McBride
- 3800 + end user’s base
- Directly linked to business revenue of close to £1BN
- Multi-language requirements across same master data
- Geographies include: UK, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, Denmark and Asia
- Communication – communicates effectively with technical team and with business. Ability to bring complex and highly technical topics to life and make real for non-technical audiences.
- A customer focused approach, positive attitude in working with all business functions.
- Strong technical skills and ability to interact and understand the work of specialists both internally and through external providers.
- Good documentation skills both visually (Flow charts and maps) and written (Descriptive functional text and tables).
- 3–8+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP QM Functional Analyst.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end quality management processes in manufacturing, supply chain, or regulated environments.
- Experience configuring and supporting SAP QM in ECC 6.0 and/or S/4HANA.
- Solid knowledge of integration with PP, MM, SD, and PM modules.
- Experience writing functional specs and working with ABAP developers.
- Proven ability to lead workshops, conduct training, and engage senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
