Mc Allister Group, part of Vortex Companies, is seeking a Project Administrator to join our growing delivery team, supporting sewage and drainage infrastructure works across the UK.
This role is to replace a key vacancy and will play a critical part in delivering projects from pre-construction through to final handover.
We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Administrator to support the successful delivery of operational and project activities across our Horton, London office.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to project managers and operational teams, helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with company standards.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to project managers and site teams.
- Prepare, update, and maintain project documentation, reports, trackers, and schedules.
- Monitor project timelines and assist with tracking progress against milestones.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, purchase orders, invoices, and subcontractor documentation.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Help prepare tender submissions, project packs, and operational reports where required.
- Ensure data is entered accurately into company systems and databases.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and general office administration.
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience in an administrative or project support role.
- Experience within construction, engineering or a related industry is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience using project management or ERP systems would be advantageous.
