McAllister Bros Ltd – South East, part of Vortex Companies, offers the latest in high performance no dig repair drainage solutions that provide a quick and easy method of repair to damaged drainage and sewer pipes. We are looking for class 1 & 2 HGV drivers to drive our tankers and sewer repair lining vehicles. Full training will be provided to become a drain and sewer repair engineer.

Our depot is located in Horsham, and you must be able to commute there daily. Areas we cover are Hampshire, East and West Sussex, and Kent.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

  • CSCS, HPWJ, Confined Space, NRSWA Signing, Lighting & Guarding are desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Must be well organized and have a positive can-do attitude.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
  • You will visit various types of clients and sites, from commercial, residential, and industrial; therefore, it is essential you are able to communicate effectively and politely with customers and colleagues throughout the business.
  • Willing to undertake training and development as appropriate.
  • Be able to work using your own initiative.
  • Must operate in accordance with our H&S and Quality Procedures.

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK HGV class 1 or 2 driving license (preferably no more than 3 points).
  • Must be flexible as you will be required to carry out a reasonable amount of overtime.
  • Be willing to work nights, weekends, and early starts as we operate 24/7.
  • 2 years driving experience.
  • Knowledge of working with recyclers is an advantage.
