This opportunity is for a Buyer working for a global pharmaceutical supplier to the UK and International markets. Working here you’ll receive great career development opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Location – Crewe
  • Salary – £35,000 - £40,000 pa
  • 25 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • Hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours
  • Sector – Purchasing / Buying / Procurement

As a key member of the buying team your Buyer responsibilities will include:

  • Actively sourcing and researching new products with suppliers
  • Managing relationships with suppliers
  • Negotiating and purchasing products from approved suppliers
  • Co-ordinating product samples and completing associated new line forms
  • Managing purchase orders
  • Working closely with the operations team

We are keen on speaking to people who have experience of buying Pharmaceuticals or FMCG or Healthcare products:

  • Previous experience working in a purchasing, procurement or buyer role
  • Experience purchasing pharmaceutical or commodity/FMCG products
  • Experience of importing products would be desirable
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel
