This opportunity is for a Buyer working for a global pharmaceutical supplier to the UK and International markets. Working here you’ll receive great career development opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Location – Crewe
- Salary – £35,000 - £40,000 pa
- 25 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays
- Hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours
- Sector – Purchasing / Buying / Procurement
As a key member of the buying team your Buyer responsibilities will include:
- Actively sourcing and researching new products with suppliers
- Managing relationships with suppliers
- Negotiating and purchasing products from approved suppliers
- Co-ordinating product samples and completing associated new line forms
- Managing purchase orders
- Working closely with the operations team
We are keen on speaking to people who have experience of buying Pharmaceuticals or FMCG or Healthcare products:
- Previous experience working in a purchasing, procurement or buyer role
- Experience purchasing pharmaceutical or commodity/FMCG products
- Experience of importing products would be desirable
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel
