Mc Allister Olivarius is an international claimant-orientated law firm based in the UK and US that specialises in equality and anti-discrimination law.

About you

You don't need a legal background to apply for this role — we're looking for someone adaptive, kind, and detail-oriented, and we'll train you in everything specific to working in a law firm.

You will be primarily providing administrative support to the UK legal team, and from time to time provide various administrative support across all parts of the business.

This is an interesting role filled with a good combination of regular tasks as well as room for some surprises.

Full training is provided, so this is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in professional services, even without prior legal experience.

This role is full-time and entirely office based.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Scheduling calls and meetings with current and potential clients, witnesses, external counsel and other third parties.
  • Assisting with filing and organising case- and practice-related documents.
  • Preparing bundles.
  • Maintaining contact lists.
  • Producing and distributing correspondence, memos, letters, etc. as needed.
  • Booking travel arrangements.
  • Compiling expense reports and assisting with billing.

We'll train you on all the legal-specific parts of this — how our case files work, the tools we use, and the standards expected in a law firm environment.

  • Good written and verbal communication.
