Our Aftercare Department is seeking an experienced Supervisor with a Joinery background to manage and coordinate the resolution of building defects during the Defects Liability Period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee defects works across multiple projects
  • Supervise maintenance works in live buildings
  • Ensure all works comply with company standards, Health & Safety requirements, and current legislation
  • Carry out inspections in line with client requirements
  • Conduct Toolbox Talks (TBTs) and promote safe working practices
  • Oversee internal teams and external contractors, including plumbers, electricians, and roofing operatives
  • Source materials, arrange deliveries, and ensure purchase orders are completed and approved
  • Maintain defects tracking records and attend review meetings
  • Lead by example within the Aftercare team in terms of professionalism, punctuality, and work ethic

Requirements

  • Completed apprenticeship in Carpentry & Joinery (City & Guilds or NVQ)
  • Strong knowledge of fire door installation, maintenance, and defect remediation
  • Proven experience supervising teams
  • IT literate with good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
  • First Aid, Manual Handling, and Health & Safety certifications
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • BM TRADA / Q-Mark or similar accreditation
  • UK-wide travel to site is required
