MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to join a maintenance team in Wrexham, Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join one of the UK's leading Waste Management companies. This role is a days-based position working a 5 day, 40-hour week, Monday to Saturday (alternating Saturdays).
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out preventative & reactive maintenance on mechanical & electrical industrial plant.
- Conducting breakdown repairs on conveyors, rotating screens (trommels), magnets, air separators etc.
- Supporting process improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with stringent H&S & Environmental standards.
- Other duties as required.
To be considered for this role you should have:
- An ONC / City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) & relevant experience.
- Experience working with equipment such as PLCs, Conveyors, bailers, hydraulics & pneumatics.
- Problem solving skills.
- A strong commitment to health & safety with environmental knowledge.
