MC Technical Recruitment is currently working with a growing Commercial Electrical Contractor to recruit a Senior Estimator. This is a key appointment within the business, leading high-value tenders across commercial, retail, industrial, rail and highways projects.
You will take ownership of the full tender lifecycle, working closely with Directors to secure profitable and strategically aligned contracts.
As the Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing detailed electrical cost estimates up to £5m
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities
- Managing subcontract and supplier enquiries
- Leading tender strategy, risk reviews and adjudications
- Producing accurate, competitive and compliant submissions
- Supporting smooth handover to project delivery teams
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within commercial contracting
- Experience in pricing projects up to £5m in value
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations and BS7671
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good commercial awareness
