MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Deputy Operations Manager to join an Energy from Waste facility in Maidstone. This role will involve supporting the Operations Manager in the safe, compliant & efficient operation of the plant, providing operational leadership across a 24/7 environment & ensuring high standards of safety, environmental compliance & plant performance are maintained at all times.
As a Deputy Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of the Energy from Waste facility.
- Acting as Operations Manager in their absence.
- Providing Senior Authorised Person (SAP 2) duties up to 33kV & support for LV apparatus & mechanical plant.
- Leading and managing the Day Operations department.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, Environmental Permit conditions & company procedures.
- Leading investigations into accidents, incidents & near misses.
- Other duties as required.
To be considered for this role you should have:
- SAP (Senior Authorised Person) experience across HV, LV & Mechanical systems.
- A minimum HNC qualification in an engineering discipline or equivalent operational experience.
