MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a global leader in energy and power generation technologies to recruit a Field Service Engineer/ Engine Maintenance Technician to join their expanding UK service team. This is a field-based role covering sites across the North London region, supporting the maintenance and servicing of large gas engines used in CHP and renewable energy applications.
As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites
- Perform mechanical and electrical service, repair, and commissioning on large gas engines
- Conduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and diagnostics
- Maintain service records and complete detailed job reports
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards while working on-site
- Participating in a call out rota
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Proven experience working on reciprocating engines, gas engines, CHP generators or heavy engineering equipment
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (electrical preferred)
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance skills (training can be provided)
