MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, to work in a power station located in Gloucester.

Our client is a leading organisation within their sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Technician to join their team in a full time, days based role with an on-call rota.

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for

  • Routine & emerging maintenance tasks on boilers, steam turbines & conveyor systems
  • Maintenance of mechanical plant
  • Assisting the Mechanical Engineer with planning
  • Managing selected plant improvements
  • Supporting annual outages & apprentices
  • Promoting H&S compliance at all times
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have

  • A relevant engineering qualified (HNC/NVQ/Apprenticeship etc.)
  • Proven experience in power generation, Ef W, oil, biomass or marine or similar sector )
  • Experience of carrying out maintenance on mechanical process equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, HVAC systems & conveyors, etc.
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation
  • Marine Engineers with experience of working on plant will also be considered for this role

The package on offer for this position includes

  • A basic salary up to £48,000 depending on experience
