MC Technical Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Team Leader to join an industry-leading energy and resource recovery business at their state-of-the-art Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's most forward-thinking organisations in the waste-to-energy sector.
As the Day Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the shift team and supervising day-to-day operations of the ERF, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
- Overseeing safe and efficient running of the facility to maximise throughput and power export.
- Acting as Senior Authorised Person (SAP), managing the Safe System of Work and supervising contractors on site.
- Supporting continuous improvement of HSE standards and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
- Leading emergency drills and initiating investigations into incidents with objectivity and professionalism.
- Building strong working relationships with internal teams and external contractors.
- Other duties as required.
