MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Shift Operations Technician to join a state-of-the-art energy from waste power station. Reporting to a Shift Manager, this role is a 40 hours per week, shift based position.
As a Shift Operations Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Operating plant safely & efficiently.
- Leading & mentoring junior members of the operations team.
- Supporting maintenance activities including shutdown / startup.
- Delivering & supporting plant improvement initiatives.
- Acting as a SAP when required.
- Other duties as required.
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Experience with plant operations or maintenance ideally within power generation or similar heavy process industry.
- Experience with large boiler / steam plant & rotating plant.
- Leadership experience.
- DCS experience is essential.
- Good communication skills to operate alongside the Operations Team Leader & team.
