MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a global leader in energy and power generation technologies to recruit a home based Field Service Technician / Engine Maintenance Technician to join their expanding UK service team. This is a field-based role covering a region including sites from North London to Thetford, supporting the maintenance and servicing of large gas engines used in CHP and renewable energy applications.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites
  • Perform mechanical and electrical service, repair, and commissioning on large gas engines
  • Conduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and diagnostics
  • Maintain service records and complete detailed job reports
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards while working on-site
  • Participating in a call out rota
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • Proven experience working on reciprocating engines, gas engines, CHP generators or heavy engineering equipment
  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (electrical preferred)
