Plant Operator - Power Station

MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Plant Operator to join the operations department of a Power Station in the West Midlands area. The Plant Operator will be responsible for the safe & efficient operation of an Energy from waste (EfW) facility.
As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Reporting to a Shift Team Leader.
- Helping ensure the continuous operation of the plant from the control room.
- Monitor performance.
- Carry out routine inspections & tests.
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Experience working shifts within a continuous process industry.
- Experience within power generation, Energy from Waste, defence, or similar operational environments would be advantageous.
- Computer literacy & the ability to work with operational systems
- Experience with working across teams
- Strong communication skills.
