MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Plant Maintenance Technician to join a leading anaerobic digestion company at their facility in Bedfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's largest independent AD operators, supporting the safe, compliant, and efficient running of a key site.
As the Plant Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc)
- Manage and prioritise reactive maintenance and repairs to reduce operational disruptions
- Support safety, compliance, and engineering best practice across the site
- Monitor site remotely and be part of the weekend on-call rota for out-of-hours support
- Carrying out maintenance on Mechanical plant on a food waste Anaerobic Digestion site
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- A qualification in mechanical engineering (or strong industry experience)
- Proven background in a process industry (e.g. AD, energy, utilities, waste, manufacturing)
- Knowledge of PLC controls or electronics is advantageous
