MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Service Engineer for a power generation business to service & maintain large Engines based on sites around the Bedford & Milton Keynes area.
As Engine Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned & unplanned maintenance on various landfill gas sites.
- Responding to breakdowns & carrying out repairs efficiently on large Gas Engines & CHP units.
- Operating within strict H&S standards.
- Ensuring all paperwork & legislation is followed & kept up to date.
- Working as part of a 1 in 11 on-call rota with a team of other engineers.
- Other duties as required.
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Proven experience in an engine maintenance role.
- A relevant engineering qualification; Apprenticeship/SVQ/NVQ/BTEC/HNC etc.
- Experience with gas engines would be advantageous.
- The ability to travel to varied sites with a flexible approach to hours.
- Full UK driving licence.

- Salary between £38,000 & £48,000 depending on experience.
