MC Technical Recruitment are currently working with a global leader in energy and power generation technologies to recruit a Field Service Technician / Engine Maintenance Technician to join their expanding UK service team. This is a field-based role covering sites across the Worcestershire region, supporting the maintenance and servicing of large gas engines used in CHP and renewable energy applications.
As the Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites
- Perform mechanical and electrical service, repair, and commissioning on large gas engines
- Conduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and diagnostics
- Maintain service records and complete detailed job reports
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards while working on-site
- Participating in a call out rota
- Other duties as required
To be considered you should have:
- Proven experience working on reciprocating engines, gas engines, CHP generators
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (electrical preferred)
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance skills (training can be provided)
- Flexible approach to travel and working on customer sites
- Full UK driving licence
