Shift operations Technician C£58,000 + Bonus Ardley MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit working on a 24-hour shift rotation, operating an Energy Recovery Facility safely and efficiently from the control room and in the field.

This role will involve safely operating the Energy Recovery Facility from both the control room and on-site, monitoring plant performance, responding to faults, carrying out plant isolations, and ensuring safe, efficient and environmentally compliant operations.

Working 40 hours per week, on a 5-week shift pattern, include nights.

As a Shift Operations Technician, you will be responsible for: Operating the DCS and responding to alarms.

Monitoring and optimising plant performance.

Diagnosing and rectifying process/equipment faults.

Carrying out plant isolations and safe systems of work.

Monitoring boiler chemistry and environmental compliance.

Completing accurate shift logs and handovers.

Other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have: Mechanical, electrical or process plant experience Understanding of plant isolations and safe systems of work.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

IOSH or NEBOSH (preferred).

Ability to attain Authorised Person status (desirable).
