MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Field Service Technician to service and maintain Gas Engines, on a field service basis covering various sites across Southport to Hull in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an international business.
As the Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Field-based maintenance across multiple sites, covering the UK.
- Complete routine of Powergen Equipment
- Electrical and mechanical preventative and reactive maintenance
- To provide unplanned technical, hands-on troubleshooting to all Powergen assets
- Engine Overhauls and rebuilds
- Be part of an on-call rota system
- Ensuring health and safety at all times
- Other duties required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Experience repairing reciprocating engines, gas engines or CHP gen sets
- A recognised mechanical apprenticeship or similar
- Demonstrable skills in electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Good knowledge of health and safety
- Full UK driving license
