MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to cover sites in the UK and overseas, focused on the maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support for biomethane upgrading and CO2 liquefaction systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business within the Renewable Energy industry.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Travelling to sites around the UK and throughout Europe (potentially other countries as the business continues to grow)
- Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance activities on biogas upgrading plant, CO2 liquefaction systems, and ammonia gas plants
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and process-related issues
- Support emergency breakdown interventions and customer call-outs
- Inspect and maintain compressors, pumps, valves, instrumentation and refrigeration systems
- Analyse alarms, trends and process deviations through PLC/HMI systems
- Support plant uptime and operational optimization
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Minimum 3 years of field service or industrial maintenance experience
- Knowledge of NH3 refrigeration systems
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities
- Basic PLC/HMI understanding
- Ability to read P&IDs and electrical drawings
