£35,000 - £45,000 (DOE) Driffield, East Yorkshire
MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Operator / Operations Technician / Plant Technician, to work on a days-based shift role on a 24/7 process plant near Driffield. Our client is a leading business within the Renewable Energy sector, with the opportunity for a Multiskilled Operator or Mechanical Technician to join their team to carry out a variety of Operations & Maintenance duties.
As a Multi Skilled Operator, you will be responsible for:
- The day-to-day operations of the plant via SCADA control systems
- Carrying out daily site checks and first line maintenance tasks
- Planned and reactive maintenance on the process plant (pumps, motors, etc.)
- Mobile Plant Operations
- Accepting deliveries of chemicals, consumables, and stores
- Working Monday to Friday with every second weekend on call
- Responding to call-outs
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Previous plant operations experience ie: using SCADA control systems or forklift/telehandler/shovel loader
- Experience working on a process plant is advantageous eg: Anaerobic Digestion/Water Treatment/ Chemical Plant/ Food processing
- The ability to work on a days based shift pattern and participating in a call out rota
- Mechanical Engineering qualification is desirable (HND / HNC / Time Served Apprenticeship)
- A Full UK driving licence
