Maintenance Technician c£48,000 including quarterly bonus Wrexham, Wales

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to join a maintenance team in Wrexham, Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join one of the UK’s leading Waste Management companies.

This role is a days-based position working a 5 day, 40-hour week, Monday to Saturday (alternating Saturdays).

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out preventative & reactive maintenance on mechanical & electrical industrial plant.
  • Conducting breakdown repairs on conveyors, rotating screens (trommels), magnets, air separators etc.
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with stringent H&S & Environmental standards.
  • Other duties as required.

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • An ONC / City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) & relevant experience.
  • Experience working with equipment such as PLCs, Conveyors, bailers, hydraulics & pneumatics.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • A strong commitment to health & safety with environmental knowledge.
