MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Plant Maintenance Engineer to join a leading anaerobic digestion company at their facility in Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's largest independent AD operators, supporting the safe, compliant, and efficient running of a key site.
As the Plant Maintenance Engineer, you will:
- Support the site Manager
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc)
- Manage maintenance and repairs to reduce operational disruptions
- Support safety, compliance, and engineering best practice across the site
- Work a shift pattern including weekends on a rota basis including call out and remote monitoring of the AD process
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- A qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering (or strong industry experience) to level 3
- Proven background in a process industry (e.g. AD, energy, utilities, waste, manufacturing)
- Ability to train to WAMITAB and NEBOSH standard
- Experience with maintenance systems
- Familiarity with health and safety systems and environmental compliance is desirable
- Good people and teamworking skills
- Full UK driving licence and the ability to gain a telehandler licence
