MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to plan & manage a maintenance department at a busy Materials Recycling Facility (MRF). This role is a days based position working a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday.

As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading & managing day-to-day maintenance operations across the MRF, MBT & wider site, ensuring effective planned & reactive maintenance delivery
  • Owning & controlling maintenance budgets, costs, CMMS performance & spare parts inventory
  • Driving a strong health & safety culture, ensuring full compliance & safe working across all maintenance activities
  • Leading, coaching & developing a team of ~10 engineers & technicians to deliver high performance & quality standards
  • Collaborating with internal teams & external partners to improve asset reliability, deliver projects & optimise site performance

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • Hold a degree/master's in a relevant field & bringing proven experience in a similar role in a waste or process environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritise & perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Apply strong knowledge of health & safety standards & best practice
  • Build & maintain effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders
  • Show excellent organisational skills & taking initiative to act independently

The offer: £62,500, a performance related bonus, 20% car allowance or car, medical cover, life assurance, and a company pension.
