Electrical Technician in Leicester

Excellent rate in Monk Fryston, Leeds.

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit 8 Electrical Technicians urgently to work on a substation project for 4-6 weeks in Leeds.

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out troubleshooting to minimise equipment downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and complete accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to support operational requirements.

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Time-served Electrical Technician (Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 minimum).
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, motors, control circuits and the ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, installation and repair of electrical equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills with a commitment to safe working practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Salary & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate – CIS/LTD.
• 10 hour days, Monday – Friday.
• 4-6 Weeks Contract Length.
