MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Electrical Technician to join an industrial based site in the Knottingley area. This is a hands-on position carrying out maintenance & repairs on fixed and mobile plant, supporting operations and minimising downtime.
As an Electrical Technician you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance.
- Electrical & mechanical fault finding on a variety of industrial plant.
- Working a days-based role, 7am til 5pm, 5 days per week.
- Other duties as required.
To be considered for this role you should have:
- An electrical qualification, such as apprenticeship, ONC, HNC, NVQ level III.
- A working knowledge of conveyors, motors, pumps, engines, inverters, drives, PLCs and motor control circuits.
- The ability to diagnose & repair electrical problems across a variety of equipment.
- Self-motivation to work under own initiative.
- The ability to work in a large heavy industrial environment.
