MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a global leader in energy and power generation technologies to recruit a Field Service Engineer/ Engine Maintenance Technician to join their expanding UK service team. This is a field-based role covering sites across the North London region, supporting the maintenance and servicing of large gas engines used in CHP and renewable energy applications.
As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites
- Perform mechanical and electrical service, repair, and commissioning on large gas engines
- Maintain service records and complete detailed job reports
- Participating in a call out rota
Proven experience working on reciprocating engines, gas engines, CHP generators or heavy engineering equipment.
Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (electrical preferred).
Electrical and mechanical maintenance skills (training can be provided).
Flexible approach to travel and working on customer sites.
Full UK driving licence.
The package on offer for this role includes a salary up to £40,000 depending on experience, plus company benefits including pension & holidays.
