MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to cover a region around Gloucester to Swindon to south Birmingham. This role will involve conducting planned & preventative maintenance on large engines.
As a field-based Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
Adhering to all H&S regulations in a power generation setting
Performing preventative, corrective & reactive maintenance on large engines & powergen assets
Responding to out of hours call out during your on-call week
Managing van stock
Attending training to enhance skills
To be considered for this role you should have:
NVQ level 3 or C&G qualification in Mechanical Engineering
Experience working on large diesel or gas engines
Diagnostic & fault-finding skills
Willingness to travel to remote sites around the Swindon & Abingdon region
Full UK driving licence
