MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to cover a region around Swindon. This role will involve conducting planned & preventative maintenance on large engines.
As a field-based Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Adhering to all H&S regulations in a power generation setting
- Performing preventative, corrective & reactive maintenance on large engines & powergen assets
- Responding to out of hours call out during your on-call week
- Managing van stock
- Attending training to enhance skills
To be considered for this role you should have:
- NVQ level 3 or C&G qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working on large diesel or gas engines
- Diagnostic & fault-finding skills
- Willingness to travel to remote sites around the Swindon & Abingdon region
- Full UK driving licence
