Overview
Engine Maintenance Technician – £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE) plus vehicle. Dorset - South West.
MC Technical Recruitment are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Engine Maintenance Technician to carry out field-based maintenance on a number of large engines based in the Dorset / South West area. Our client is an established business within the Power Generation sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Engine Technician to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Field based maintenance across multiple sites
- Commissioning, service and repair of large reciprocating engines (Jenbacher, Caterpillar, MWM, etc.) and all ancillary equipment
- Ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to at all times
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Experience carrying out maintenance on reciprocating engines, turbines and associated plant (turbos, intercoolers)
- A recognised mechanical apprenticeship (HNC or equivalent) with relevant industry experience
- Sound knowledge of health & safety
- Full UK driving licence
Benefits / Package
The package on offer includes an attractive basic salary £40,000-£45,000 (depending on experience), with other company benefits including vehicle, pension, holidays, etc.
