Plant Manager – Energy from Waste Excellent salary on offer + car allowance + generous bonus + benefits Avonmouth area MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Plant Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of a 32MW energy from waste plant in the Bristol, Avonmouth area. The Plant Manager will report to the Head of Operations, and be responsible for the day to day running and long-term delivery on all operations and maintenance activities whilst ensuring the site delivers on its contractual commitments and commercial targets As the Plant Manager you will be responsible for: Ensuring plant availability, waste throughput and energy production targets being met in a safe and efficient manner Overall responsibility for the management of the EFW plant including owning and driving the P&L Working closely with the commercial team, local authority and other stakeholders to ensure delivery on the sites contractual agreements Lead all aspects of staff management including employee development, training, recruitment, and induction Achieving financial objectives by forecasting, having ownership of the sites P&L, preparing the annual budget and initiating corrective action when required Ensuring operational standards are in line with best practice and industry benchmark, working alongside the central engineering teams to develop improvements when necessary To be considered for this Plant Manager role you should have: At least 5 ye…
