Electrical Manager – Power Generation £75,000 – £85,000 + car allowance + bonus UK wide MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Electrical Manager / Electrical Engineering Manager to join one of the leading energy from waste businesses in the UK. Based at your nearest site the Electrical Manager will be responsible for all engineering activity on HV and LV electrical distribution systems owned or controlled by the business. They will also provide electrical support to assist in the attainment of the company’s operational and development objectives. This role will be based at a local EFW site – locations include Cheshire, Cambridgeshire, Central Belt of Scotland, Somerset and South London. As the Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for: Acting as the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for HV and LV distribution Providing electrical engineering support to assist in the attainment of the company’s published operationally and development objectives Producing HV and LV electrical specifications The design and development of various projects across multiple sites Developing asset management strategies as required To be considered for this role you should have: A degree in electrical engineering or similar Significant experience in a relevant electrical engineering / head of electrical engineering role in the power or EFW sectors or heavy process sectors High Voltage SAP experience / certification Knowledge of electricity supply industry e.g DNOs and national grid ESO, electrical legislation etc Familiarity with construction management systems, planning and CDM regulations Ideally a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification A full UK driving licence is essential for this role as travel to other sites is required Salary & benefits A basic salary of up to circa £85,000 depending on experience A car / car allowance A performance related bonus Healthcare Company pension Further benefits If you are interested in this role, please apply via the link below or contact Steve Utton at MC Technical Recruitment on (phone number removed) / (url removed) for a confidential chat
