MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader to join a state-of-the-art energy from waste power station. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to see all the stages of a new build through commissioning & operational start up. This role is a days-based position working a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining high standards of mechanical performance & plant availability.
  • Leading & managing a team of maintenance technicians.
  • Being the technical lead for all mechanical maintenance activities.
  • Delivering plant improvement initiatives.
  • Co-ordinating preventative & reactive maintenance activities.
  • Other duties as required.

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • Extensive maintenance experience with power generation or similar heavy process industry.
  • Strong knowledge of steam raising plant.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • HNC or above in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Good communication skills to operate alongside the Operations Team Leader & team.

The offer: Up to £62,000, a performance related bonus, and 25 days plus BHA company pension.
