AD Site Manager £60,000 pro rata (6 month contract) Edinburgh
MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Site Manager for an Anaerobic Digestion plant based in Edinburgh in a temporary role lasting about 6 months. You will manage & take responsibility for the whole operation of the plant.
As Site Manager you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental & Quality standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 18001).
- Ensuring efficient & cost effective site operations.
- Managing a motivated, flexible & high performing team.
- Manage site financials, including P&L ownership, budgeting & cost control.
- Maintaining the high standards of a leading AD plant.
- Other duties as required.
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Safety consciousness & be aware of environmental impacts.
- A strong work ethic, be self-motivated & driven; pro-active & flexible & take pride in your work.
- Proven Man-management, leadership & coaching skills.
- AD / Process Industry and/or Engineering experience, skills and qualification.
- A technical qualification, such as electrical or mechanical engineering or similar, or qualified by experience in engineering.
- WAMITAB (covering biological treatment) Certificate of Technical Competence.
