MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Test Technician for an international instrumentation business supplying the Power Generation sector from a base in North Bristol. As part of a small team (at this location) a flexible approach is required with a “muck in” attitude.
As a Test Technician you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking fault finding & diagnosis of electronic / electro mechanical products.
- Using basic test instruments, following safe working practices.
- Maintaining bespoke test equipment & keeping the work area clean & tidy.
- Other duties as required.
To be considered for this role you should have:
- A good working knowledge of electronics, or test instruments.
- An electrical or electronic qualification such as an ONC or City & Guilds.
- The ability to work a 37-hour week with core hours between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
- The ability to pass a DBS check.
- A forklift licence (or ability to train to gain one) would be advantageous.
- Good awareness of the importance of Health & Safety in the work environment.
