MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Decontamination Technician / Field Service Technician to work both at a Hazardous Waste Handling site and at other similar sites from time to time as required. This varied and interesting role will involve working days, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with occasional work away from home.
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out specialist cleaning tasks, such as tank cleaning, site decontamination, emergency spillage response and other varied duties
- Operating tools and equipment in line with SOPs
- Complying with site permits and stringent environmental standards
- Participating in extensive training, job risk assessments and an emergency response rota
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Experience working outdoors, industrial cleaning, waste handling or similar
- A willingness to participate in training and emergency rota duties
- Be willing to work towards certifications such as CSCS, Nebosh, IOSH, IPAF etc
- A full UK driving licence
