Guided by the belief that cutting‑edge communications and technologies can change the world, we help our clients solve some of the world’s most complex challenges — operating at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and impact to shape narratives, influence behaviour, and deliver meaningful real‑world outcomes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to lead the design of engaging, user‑centred digital experiences across websites, platforms and digital products.

The role brings together creative design, user experience and technical delivery.

You will define how users navigate and interact with digital products, how content and information are structured and how client objectives are translated into intuitive, visually compelling and technically deliverable experiences.

Key responsibilities are to

  • Lead the UX and UI design process across digital projects, from discovery through to developer handover and design QA during implementation.
  • Translate client objectives, user needs, content requirements and technical constraints into clear experience and interface design solutions.
  • Create user journeys, information architecture, sitemaps, task flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
  • Design intuitive, accessible and visually engaging user interfaces across desktop, mobile and tablet.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, reusable components and interaction patterns that improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Produce structured, development‑ready Figma files, including component behaviour, responsive states, specifications and edge cases.
  • Work closely with Developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented accurately.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate user experience, storytelling, content and visual design.
  • Use research, analytics, user feedback and usability testing to inform and improve design decisions.

Present concepts, prototypes and design rationale to internal teams and clients.

  • Champion accessibility, inclusive design, usability and digital design best practice across client work.
  • Explore and apply AI‑enabled design tools and workflows where they can improve quality, speed or efficiency.

ABOUT YOU

What you bring (knowledge, expertise, experience, and skills)

Essential

  • Significant experience in UX/UI, product design or digital design roles, operating at a senior level.
  • Strong experience designing websites, digital platforms and digital products within an agency, consultancy or similar client‑focused environment.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking and high‑quality UI design, including work taken from initial discovery through to implementation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern collaborative design workflows.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, user journeys, wireframing and prototyping.
  • Strong visual design skills, with the ability to create polished and distinctive interfaces while maintaining usability and consistency.
  • Experience creating and maintaining design systems, component libraries and reusable design patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of responsive design.
  • Good understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles, including WCAG.
  • Experience preparing production‑ready design files and working with Developers throughout implementation.
  • Experience balancing user needs, client objectives, creative ambition and technical constraints.
  • Confidence presenting work, explaining design decisions and responding constructively to stakeholder feedback.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how scope, timelines, budgets and technical feasibility affect design decisions.
  • Familiarity with AI‑assisted design tools and an interest in applying them to improve design workflows.

Desirable

  • Experience designing multilingual, multicultural or global digital experiences.
  • Experience designing for complex content or data‑heavy platforms.
  • Working knowledge of front‑end development principles, including HTML, CSS, responsive design and component‑based development.
  • Experience planning or supporting user research, usability testing and design validation.
  • A track record of helping establish UX/UI processes, standards or capability within a growing team or organisation.
