We’re looking for a brilliant Receptionist to join the team at M&C Saatchi Group. This role is all about creating a warm, welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doorswhether it’s clients, visitors, or our own people.

You’ll be the first face people see and the go-to person for all things front of house. From managing meeting rooms and calls to supporting events and helping the wider operations team, no two days will be the same.

This is a people-first role, where attention to detail, a calm presence, and a friendly approach go a long way. You’ll report to the Head Receptionist and work closely with the wider team to keep the space running smoothly and help things feel seamless and well looked after.

What you’ll do:

Front of House & Guest Experience:

  • Greet clients, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism.
    • Answer calls through the switchboard quickly and helpfully.
    • Keep reception looking tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times.
    • Register guests and help manage security procedures.
    • Stay on top of guest arrivals, know who they’re here to see and where they’re going.
    • Make sure meeting rooms are ready to go: clean, set up, and stocked with everything needed.
    • Support with bookings, catering orders, and keeping everything running to plan.
    • Be available for occasional after-hours reception cover when needed.

Day-to-Day Operations & Admin:

  • Support with general admin tasks (like updating phone lists, logging support tickets, or helping with DSE info).
    • Keep room bookings accurate and up to date using our Manhattan system.
    • Report any faults or issues in the office and follow up with the right teams.
    • Help out the wider operations team with anything they need to keep the office moving.

Hospitality & Events Support:

  • Work closely with our Catering team to make sure hospitality is delivered smoothly.
    • Clear and reset meeting rooms as needed.
    • Be on hand during company events, pitch meetings or ad hoc projects.

Additional bits:

  • Be trained and ready to act as a Fire Marshal and First Aider when needed.
    • Look after your own development and attend any training that’ll help you grow.
    • Pitch in with anything the Head Receptionist or team needs support with.
    • Be a positive, friendly presence in the office and represent the business in the right way.

What you’ll bring:

  • A friendly, confident personality with great people skills.
  • Polished communication, both on the phone and in person.
  • Solid organisational skills! You’re someone who likes things to run smoothly.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable learning systems.
  • Calm under pressure and able to multitask when things get busy.
  • Reliable, proactive, and ready to roll up your sleeves.
  • Someone who takes pride in creating a great experience for others.
