The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic, motivated and versatile Social Media Manager to join our agency to drive forward our work with adidas Runners - the world’s biggest global running community. The ideal candidate will have a hunger to dive into a dynamic role where they can flex both their creative and strategic muscles. Working closely with the Community Manager, Social Account Executive and Social Content Creator, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate, innovate, and help shape the day-to-day social outputs (Instagram as key channel) for our global client. You’ll have a genuine passion for running communities, sports, and or fitness and be abreast of emerging trends in those spaces.
Core responsibilities:
- Support the Community Manager with monitoring of social pages including stakeholder escalation
- Own the end-to-end development of the content calendar with support from the Social Content Creator and Community Manager
- Ideation and development of the social media calendar with support from the social content creator and in-house studio and project manager
- Collaborate on influencer content ideas and manage the adidas Creator Network
- Live on-the-ground coverage / publishing with support from the Social Content Creator
- Support the Strategist with weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
- Be willing to travel for work, shoots and events globally
- Compile design and content briefs and undertake briefings with key internal team and external community members
Required Skills
