Are you interested in a career that changes the world? If so, global change communications might be for you. We’re looking for 8–10 candidates who are curious about the world, passionate about global issues, and enthusiastic about using technology to amplify impact.
About Us
World Services is a specialist division of M+C Saatchi. We are focused on tackling some of humanity’s most challenging and important problems, in fragile states and developing countries, harnessing the power of cutting-edge communications and creativity to achieve long‑term behaviour change.
The Opportunity
The World Services Internship Programme is a paid 6‑week scheme open to anyone looking to start a career in communications, with a focus on global change. World Services will consider scheme graduates for potential employment opportunities. While a job is not guaranteed and is dependent on role availability, the purpose of this program is to invest in potential future talent.
Interns will have the opportunity to spend time in each of the following departments:
- Account/Project Management
- Strategy
- Research
- Operations
- Media Strategy
You will be brought across some of our projects, interact with team members to get experience delivering work, gain exposure across all departments to help grow your understanding of our work environment as well as get the opportunity to network with senior leadership. The interns will all be hosted by different departments and teams but will work together to develop an end‑of‑internship task which will be your chance to show us what you have learnt and could bring to the agency in a full‑time role.
The internship will commence 22 June and run until 31 July based in our offices in Soho at regular business hours (9:30 am – 6:00 pm). Interns will be paid London Living Wage and will be expected to come into the office at least three times per week at the discretion of their programme leads.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who Have
- Curious minds: We want someone who is naturally curious and fascinated by the world and why it is the way it is, particularly from a geopolitical perspective. Someone who stops scrolling to read about what’s going on around the world and invests themselves in social issues. Someone who has a belief in the idea that communications, when applied properly, can lead to a better world.
- A knack for collaborating: We work jointly with partners and agencies as well as other M&C Saatchi companies to provide support from strategy to implementation for many of our campaigns. We need a natural collaborator. Someone who empowers those around them and is open, willing and able to engage new people inside and outside of our organisation.
- A desire for a meaningful career: What gets you out of bed in the morning? Those who are driven by a greater purpose and search for a “why” in what they do will often find commercial careers unfulfilling. We are searching for the people who want their career to mean something.
- A tech‑curious mindset: We want someone who is confident navigating digital tools and platforms, and who is curious about how technology is reshaping communications. Someone who doesn’t shy away from innovation, but instead looks for ways to apply new tools thoughtfully and creatively in their approach. Someone who sees technology as an enabler of smarter, more impactful work.
Interested? Please answer each of the below questions within the specified character count (incl. spaces). Applications will close Friday, 3rd April at 23:59 and successful candidates will be invited for a ZOOM interview in mid‑April 2026. Successful candidates will be offered an internship position subject to the provision of satisfactory references, a successful background check and providing proof of right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
