Are you looking for the opportunity to join a flagship project from the early stages and genuinely grow with a business over the next several years? We are working with a highly respected civil engineering and concrete structures specialist delivering a major £60m package on one of the North East’s most significant industrial developments.
Our client is self-delivering a £60m complex civil engineering package of works including substructure and superstructure works, substantial reinforced concrete hard standing areas, high-spec ground floor slabs, externals, drainage, utilities, roads and landscaping. The majority of the work is being delivered in-house, giving the commercial team excellent exposure across all aspects of project delivery rather than simply managing subcontract packages.
This role would suit someone with around 4–7 years’ experience who is looking to become a well-rounded civil engineering Quantity Surveyor. You’ll be involved in everything from measurement and change control through to subcontract management, cost reporting and working closely alongside operational teams and senior management. The contract is being delivered under NEC3 Option A.
This is not simply a hire for one project. The business has a very strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work including further large-scale infrastructure and industrial schemes, meaning there will be genuine long-term progression opportunities as the team continues to expand.
In return, they are offering a competitive salary dependent on experience, £5,500 car allowance, annual discretionary bonus, matched pension contribution of 5%, private healthcare, flexible working arrangements and 26 days holiday with the option to buy or sell additional days. The role will typically involve four days per week on site and one day working from home alongside a flexible 37.5 hour working week.
