One of my favourite clients has started their New Year by winning multiple new contracts and is expecting to pick up even more in the new few days! This has opened up a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor who has experience of managing their own projects within the Civil Engineering Industry to commercially lead one of their brand new project wins in Rotherham. This is a £3m flood alleviation scheme which you would take from procurement through to final account and then there is a further major project in the same area for you to move on to.
The company takes great pride out of having a family feel to the business whilst being part of a larger group. This is shown in many ways such as existing long term members of staff, a personalised career development programme, the 27 days holiday plus an extra for your birthday and the trust to manage your own diary to make sure the project gets delivered whilst your work/life balance is also treated with respect.
This is primarily a site based role with the scheme being in Rotherham and the offices are in Leeds for when team meetings need to take place. The company has been around for decades and have a great name for themselves with a diverse range of clients bringing in new types of civil engineering projects on a regular basis.
